This is the best book I have read in a long time, and is certainly the most helpful and practical book I have ever read on its subject--undoing the ego (sometimes called "ego death"). I began re-reading large parts of it as soon as I finished it.
Sometimes you read a book that feels like you could boil it down to 10 or 20 pages without losing anything essential. This is definitely not that kind of book; it is dense with essential information, guidance, cautions, and encouragement. There is no padding in this book; there is probably not a page that could have been left out.
For me, the most interesting part of the book was a 67-page chapter called "The Six Stages of Undoing the Ego". I was struck by (and fascinated by) how specific and clear the authors were in their descriptions of these stages and their advice about how to navigate them.
